Yes, I have created a new YouTube channel! And I ask that you pretty please hit that subscribe button once again.
Many of you may remember my former YouTube channel that, having amassed 280,000 subscribers over 3.5 years, was suddenly and abruptly deactivated in September 2023…
Butt I’m back! The Nude Blogger 2.0!
After 8 months away from YouTube, it has given me time to reflect and think about how I want to show up on this platform moving forward…
Because, yes, I feel it is still important to have a presence on this platform, but things HAVE to be different…because, well, lesson learnt!
I believe that these mainstream platforms are where this work needs to be seen the most. But, what I am no longer willing to do is compromise my business, peace or livelihood.
If anything, the termination in 2023 highlighted where I needed to solidify my boundaries and standards within my business, and within myself as an individual…and this version of me on YouTube is simply the embodiment of what I have learnt.
This is me having clarity about where my energy is best directed…and that is no longer towards fighting uphill battles that, in the end, bite me in the ass. This is no longer about being a martyr of sorts for the naturist community and doing it all for the community at the expense of my work’s value and my own sense of worth as an individual.
This is about having my content be as accessible as possible to the public whilst also ensuring the safety, security and stability of my business and livelihood.
THE FUTURE OF MY FREE VIDEO CONTENT.
So, it is with much consideration that I have decided that I will no longer be posting uncensored content on this new YouTube channel…for very obvious reasons.
And whilst this may be a little disappointing for those of you who had the privilege of indulging in my free uncensored content for years, this decision is necessary if I want to maintain an ongoing presence on YouTube…and I trust that my community understand and respect my decision and will support me in it.
Having a presence and growing an audience on YouTube is something I would like to pursue, and I no longer want my energy being drained by being in damage control over inconsistent community guidelines or unpredictable algorithms…I want my energy going towards CREATING and GROWING.
For so long, my priority had been providing free quality content for my community. Now my priority must be with providing myself and my business with more security and stability so that, in turn, I can continue to show up for my community in the best possible way.
FUTURE PLANS FOR MY NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
Whilst my naturist vlogs on YouTube will be censored and likely shorter than they previously were, I am going to aim to have them be as informative and as insightful as possible when it comes to the naturist destination that I am sharing about in the video.
I want for my content to act as an information hub for naturists all over the world…be it a closet nudie, seasoned nudie or veteran nudie!
In a way, my YouTube videos will also act as trailers for my paid content (full length and uncensored versions).
I will also be seeking out advice from my community about their ideas and suggestions!
FROM THE ARCHIVES.
Over the 3.5 years that I was previously on YouTube, I shared almost 40 or so uncensored vlogs (amassing, on average, over a million views each!).
Over the past few months here at TNB HQ, we have been working away at retrieving as many of the ‘lost files’ as possible from what I am going to term ‘The Nude Archives’. The Nude Archives make up most of what I previously posted on my former YouTube channel. A few have been lost, but we’ve managed to track down most of them.
So, whilst on hiatus from YouTube, we’ve been working our bare butts off to cut and edit each naturist vlog so that it is ‘suitable’ for YouTube. Some of it is a bit rough, as they were never initially filmed or edited with the intention to be censored or snipped further, but we’ve done our best given what we’ve had to work with!
So, over the next few months, we’ll be dropping a ‘new’ video from ‘The Nude Archives’ each week…
Meaning you’ll have the opportunity to re-live those nudie adventures with me all over again (albeit in a different way - although you can always join my Patreon or Vimeo for the full length and uncensored version!).
WHY A DIFFERENT APPROACH THIS TIME ROUND?
Integrity has always been a cornerstone of my business, and I chose what felt in integrity for me at the time when starting up my former YouTube channel (which was to post uncensored content).
In my eyes, it would have felt like a disservice to the naturist lifestyle to have censored my videos even though nudity is supposedly ‘allowed’ on YouTube via their ‘Sex and Nudity’ policy. What…just so that I could make money from them through advertisements? No thanks. It was a sacrifice I made for the betterment of the lifestyle and my community. At the time, it just didn’t sit well with me….especially knowing that I didn’t have to! Although, ultimately, and unfortunately, it kind of feels like I needed to anyway.
Over the years, as I have matured within myself as an individual and business woman (who has tirelessly fought censorship and had my fair share of deactivations), now what feels in integrity for me is to also make choices that create more security and stability for myself and my business.
As much I would love to show up on YouTube uncensored all over again (or other mainstream platforms for that matter!), as I mentioned before, I am no longer willing to risk it all for the benefit of everyone else but at the cost of myself.
Having experienced, first hand, the hypocrisy, unpredictability and lack of integrity within YouTube’s ‘Community Guidelines’, and having had 35+ videos and 3.5 years of work disregarded overnight, like it was nothing, is proof enough for me that it’s time to change my tone on this platform if I am to remain on it.
If this is going to be a lasting legacy and a continued movement, it needs to have legs. It needs to have longevity. And I believe this is a step in the right direction…for me and my community.
MAKING A LIVING AS A NATURIST CONTENT CREATOR.
I feel it’s important to note that I rely solely on voluntary contributions via subscription-based platforms (Patreon and Vimeo) for my livelihood, that then has to compete with all of my other free resources. So, I rely on the traffic I receive through my various other platforms (which are usually heavily shadow-banned by the way).
And with the very abrupt and unexpected termination of my former YouTube channel, that was 280,000 people I wasn’t able to give a warning to…and that’s now potentially 280,000 people I don’t even have a means of communicating with. No way of telling them what’s next, where to go and what to do. But, this is where I’m hoping you can help…
